How your belly does it feels if you are in labor? How many hours or minutes get start to pain?

I want to be prepared and I want to know exactly how it feels. My belly always gets hard and painful. I don't know if it is normal or you are under labor now.

Best Answer:

It's different for everyone. Some women wonder in early labor if it's really labor or not because you can have mild contractions which are mildly crampy and uncomfortable for many hours or even days before true, active labor kicks in. Sometimes active labor starts without any real warning and just bang! there it is. The most likely scenario is you will feel crampy and have a backache and your belly will feel tight like a firm little ball, then over the course of a few hours they will get more intense, to the point where you won't be asking "Is this it?" because it will be obvious. But if you are ever not sure, always call your doctor.
